Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday after Hayden's soccer game we packed up and headed to the pumpkin patch. The weather was wonderful and we had a great time. We rode the ferry across the river and Hayden insisted on paying for the ferry ride again this year. We rode the train out to the pumpkin patch, went through the hay maze and stopped at the petting zoo. They had some gigantic fall peaches I had to buy some. I made Ryan his favorite peach-blueberry desert. Lucky for us the boys didn't like it so we got to eat it all. It was a fantastic day.

P.S. You may think I play favorites when it comes to my children based on pictures, but anyone who knows Hayden knows he rarely likes having his picture taken. As frustrating as this might be, I think he knows he may be famous someday and is practicing for the paparazzi.

I'm sad that we missed it! The pumpkin patch is one of my favorite fall traditions. That's a first. I'm glad you guys had a good time. See you on Sunday.

CAN I TELL YOU HOW JEALOUS I AM THAT YOU GOT TO GO TO THE CANBY PUMPKIN PATCH! THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE LIKE IT. HERE IN UTAH I GEUSS A PUMPKIN PATCH MEANS YOU PICK ONE OFF OF A SHELF AND GO TO THE CHECK IT. HOW BORING! ANYWAYS, SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAD A GOOD TIME. I BET YOUR BOYS ARE AT THE PERFECT AGE TO HAVE FUN WITH THE HOLIDAYS.
